Groove on the Grass celebrates 11 years of musical magic in Dubai this Saturday
Attendees at Emirates Golf Club can expect sets from Folamour, Catz 'n Dogz, Habibi Funk, Sonja Moonear and many more
Dubai's own Groove on the Grass is gearing up to celebrate 11 years of rhythmic revelry at the illustrious Emirates Golf Club on November 18.
Groove on the Grass, a cornerstone of the Middle Eastern electronic music scene, has become synonymous with cultural fusion, uniting a mosaic of listeners under the euphoric banner of music. This year, the festival is set to outdo itself, boasting a lineup that's as diverse as it is dynamic.
Headlining the festival is the French sensation Folamour (Bruno Boumendil), whose soul-stirring mixes are a testament to the power of groove. Joining him are the Polish powerhouses, Catz 'n Dogz (Grzegorz Demiañczuk and Wojciech Taranczuk), whose genre-spanning sets promise to be nothing short of electrifying. Habibi Funk adds an exotic twist, blending Arabic rhythms with electronic beats, while John Bowtie is poised to take festival-goers on an auditory odyssey through house and techno.
The festival's second stage is equally impressive, featuring the Swiss DJ Sonja Moonear, known for her minimalist techno beats. Dubai's own Marks will be showcasing his melodic techno prowess, alongside Omar Fayyad, who is set to blend various electronic genres in his set. Hameed will immerse the crowd in his deep, atmospheric techno, while the Honeytrap System collective promises a rich tapestry of electronic styles. Rising talent Mattia Stagapede will also be there, merging melodious elements with rhythmic drive.
“We're thrilled to celebrate 11 years of Groove on the Grass with this outstanding lineup of artists,” said Deian Markov, managing director of The Artist Network Event Management. “Our mission has always been to create a space where music transcends boundaries, and this anniversary edition will be a testament to that.”
