Al Amaaria Village preps for Groove On The Grass's September spectacle: Groove In Riyadh

Groove On The Grass rings in its 11th year with a captivating two-day Riyadh showcase at Al Amaaria Village from September 28 - 29. When one thinks of the pulsating electronic beats of the Middle East, Groove On The Grass invariably comes to mind. Their latest headliner reveal suggests that the UAE-born festival is revving up to set the tempo for Season 11.

Topping the bill as we step into this season is Europe's celebrated female progressive house DJ - Miss Monique. Recent escapades saw her spinning her magic in Ibiza and mesmerising crowds from Hungary to India with her distinctive sets. Miss Monique's seamless blend of trance, progressive house and techno proves she's as much at home in cosy venues as she is dominating festival stages.

Joining the lineup from the heart of the Palestinian underground is Sama’ Abdulhadi, showcasing the vibrant beats of the growing techno scene. As the pioneering Palestinian DJ and electronic music producer, her musical journey has its roots in Beirut. The city not only honed her unique sound but also sharpened her mixing skills and narrative creation. Her sets, while being fiercely techno, span a broad sonic spectrum from start to finish.

The English-born, now LA-residing maestro Chris Barratt, better known as Eagles & Butterflies, is ready to spellbind attendees with his eclectic electronic tunes. From being hailed as Mixmag’s ‘Breakthrough Act of the Year’ to launching his own imprint, Art Imitating Life, Barratt's dedication to his craft and his ability to recreate studio magic on stage shines through his work with esteemed labels like Innervisions and Correspondant.

The musical journey in Riyadh doesn't stop there. The lineup gets another boost with the electronic sensation, Edu Imbernon from Valencia. Wearing many hats - from a producer to an event promoter - Edu's emotive, melodic beats blending electronica, house, and indie are an auditory treat.

But there's more! Musical maestros like Dish-Dash, Mustafa Ismaeel, RDJ, Jeme, and a host of other talents are all geared up to electrify the Riyadh scene.

Deian Markov, Managing Director of The Artist Network said: “Once again, we’re excited to be pushing boundaries with our programming and are looking forward to our season 11 opening in Riyadh!”

Groove In Riyadh has limited slots. So, make sure you're part of it!
