Hannes Bieger explores cosmic themes on new album, ‘Galaxies’
From ‘Apollo’ to ‘Voyager’, the tracklist of Hannes Bieger’s latest LP mirrors an interstellar expedition

Hannes Bieger’s latest album ‘Galaxies’, released via his own label Elektrons, channels the artist’s evolution through nine meticulously crafted tracks that bridge the gap between melodic depth and rhythmic intensity.
The LP, shaped during a period of creative transition, finds Hannes Bieger embracing a freer artistic approach, resulting in a collection that reflects both his technical expertise and personal introspection.
The album features collaborations with vocalists FEY and Walead, adding a human touch to its cosmic themes. Lead single ‘Hawa’—which translates to “love”—showcases Moroccan singer Walead’s emotive delivery, blending deep percussion with an ethereal melody. Elsewhere, tracks like ‘Meteor’ and ‘Apollo’ evoke the vastness of space, while ’Stardust’, featuring FEY, leans into dreamy textures. Closing track ‘Voyager’ brings the journey full circle with a contemplative, layered arrangement.
A defining moment in the album’s genesis came with ‘Black Hole’, a track that not only received a strong audience response but also inspired the launch of Elektrons. Hannes Bieger describes the album as an exploration of existential questions, with love as the unifying force, a sentiment that underpins the record’s sonic journey.
