Hard Reset links up with KRCL for new collaborative single, ‘Supernature’

Hard Reset is set to release a new collaborative single titled ‘Supernature’ with KRCL via Paul van Dyk's Château Bonheur Musique.

For both artists, ‘Supernature’ extends beyond a studio collaboration. Hard Reset describes the release as a milestone in a journey shaped by Paul van Dyk's music, while KRCL links the track to a period of personal reflection and transformation that unfolded between its creation and release.

Reflecting on the journey behind the release, Hard Reset said the opportunity to join Paul van Dyk's label carries a special personal meaning: “I still remember the first time I heard Paul van Dyk’s 'Crush'. It made me wonder what kind of music I was listening to, and that curiosity led me to discover electronic music. Soon after, I found the VANDIT radio shows, where I was introduced to countless artists, sounds, and ideas that shaped the way I listen to music today. Before I knew it, electronic music had become much more than something I enjoyed—it had become an essential part of who I am.

There have been many defining moments throughout my journey, but discovering Paul van Dyk’s music was the first—and without a doubt the most important. That’s why releasing my own music on the label founded by the artist who inspired me to fall in love with electronic music is something that’s incredibly difficult to put into words. It’s a reminder of just how powerful music can be and how profoundly it can shape someone’s life.”

The next chapter of that journey arrives on July 24. 'Supernature', my collaboration with KRCL, will be released on Paul van Dyk’s label, Château Bonheur Musique. Releasing music on the label of an artist I looked up to growing up is one of the most meaningful milestones of my career so far.”

Sharing his thoughts on the long-awaited release, KRCL described the release as the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another: “We actually wrote ‘Supernature’ a couple of years ago, and looking back now, it’s wild to think about how much has shifted since. Back then, I was in a completely different headspace; constantly searching, restless, and feeling a bit disconnected. But after finishing the track, which was a journey to a mindset of euphoria, I feel like I’ve changed. I’ve grown a lot calmer since then but more focused, had opportunities to think on which ways i should take, and a big lesson learnt was learning to slow down and actually pay attention to the world around me. I started to take walks in nature to find peace, and it grounded me in a way I didn't know I needed. There’s this super quiet, steady beauty in the way nature just exists without any rush or panic, and it taught me how to finally let things go.

“With the track finally coming out next week, the timing feels surreal. It really marks the official closing of that old, restless chapter and the beginning of a much softer, more present way of living.”

‘Supernature’, co-produced by Gorkem Gokkaya, reunites Hard Reset and KRCL following Hard Reset's remix of KRCL's 2023 single ‘Undream’ and their subsequent original collaborations, ‘Yours’, ‘Need Your Love’ and ‘Burning’.

'Supernature', due for release on July 24, marks KRCL's second appearance on Château Bonheur Musique, following his solo single 'The Quest', released last month.
