Husa & Zeyada broaden their musical horizons on debut album ‘Long Way Home’

Egyptian live electronic duo Husa & Zeyada have released their debut LP, ‘Long Way Home’.

The 12-track project follows a string of vibrant singles from the album that came out through the past two years, including the title track as well as ’Trick of the Mind’, ‘A Little Fun’, ‘Make It Hot’, ‘Wicked Self’, ‘Hit the Ground’, ‘On My Own’ and ‘Piece of Mind’. These releases have so far seen the duo’s music remixed by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo & Marcelo Vasami, Timo Maas, Oliver Schories, Madmotormiquel, Made By Pete and Miyagi, among others. Also, a remix LP is set to release following the album with remixers such as Elif & Gesponsa, 16BL & Wild Dark, Hot Oasis, Bross and more.

The journey of the duo has been born out of a spontaneous and spacey lockdown collaboration between two very different daydreamers. It fuses Zeyada’s synth-soaked indie rock with Adam Husa’s deep melodic house. Together, Husa & Zeyada simmer towards a new hybrid of indie dance, draped in English and Arabic lyrics. Each release from them is accompanied by illustrated stories of the little creatures that inhabit our minds; the ones that spring from our subconscious, shaped by pressures and desires. These characters explore what happens when we listen to the creative monsters under our skin.
