TRQ soars with his debut techno cut ‘Ignite’
Big sounds that wreck the dancefloor
Kuwaiti DJ, producer and Rhythmك founder TRQ (Talal R. AlQaoud) has dropped his debut single, ‘Ignite’.
With more than a decade of experience in DJing, the artist has been featured on various radio show slots, hosted his own podcast named Decibels Music and this year launched a platform called Rhythmك with a view to showcase Kuwait’s prominent talents and locations. As part of the project, two performances by TRQ himself and DJ Bonita have been filmed at Hamra Tower and Ibn Al Jamal Farms so far.
AlQaoud won the 1st place against more than 35 DJs in the Middle East region in a competition organized by Marina FM Kuwait in 2015. ‘Ignite’ is the artist’s debut single to come out on major digital streaming platforms. It’s a driving 4/4 techno cut packed with frenetic rave melodies, a dirty lead synth, whip smart drums and punctuated bass lines, and truly worth a spin.
