Laymoon releases debut EP, ‘Ramel | Bahar’

Qatar-based Lebanese DJ/producer Laymoon has released his debut EP, entitled ‘Ramel | Bahar’.

The two-track EP features a unique auditory journey marked by extraordinary rhythmic structures. ’Ramel’ captivates with its tense synths and vocals, crafting an engaging soundscape that draws listeners into its intricate world. In contrast, ‘Bahar’ transitions into a more serene dance experience, enriched with Afro influences that echo the sonic landscape of ‘Ramel’ while guiding it towards a tranquil culmination.

Having started producing in Germany before moving back to Doha where he was born and raised, Laymoon has been a part of the Qatar-based collective ODAAT (One Day at A Time) hosting techno and house events with international and local artists with a view to create a community based on art and dance music in the country. Some of their most recent events have welcomed the likes of Retrogroove, Space Motion, Kasango, Yamil, Thimble and Clemente so far.

Months have passed since Laymoon graced the airwaves with ‘Ehsas’ last summer, now followed by his debut EP. Listen to ‘Ramel | Bahar’ below.
