Little Pink Book launches in the UAE
Women in music network and female empowerment platform Little Pink Book arrives in the UAE with an invite only event attended by some of the most influential ladies in the music industry
Little Pink Book officially launches in the UAE with a roundtable discussion attended by music industry professionals, artists & DJs on October 12. The evening will be hosted at Alserkal Avenue hotspot Pekoe in Dubai.
The roundtable discussion will be led by Little Pink Book founder Roberta Hickey discussing the attendees’ careers, how to provide support for women looking to enter the music industry and the launch of a LPB mentorship scheme. The event will have some DJs from the region attending as well as women from all walks of the industry.
Little Pink Book was founded in London in 2019 by Roberta Hickey who is a DJ herself and has over 10 years experience in the music industry with companies including MTV & Meta as a platform to provide career advice and resources to young women looking to enter the music industry and shine a light on the women who are in roles and doing amazing things.
Roberta says, “I am so excited to bring Little Pink Book to the UAE. There is so much amazing talent here both on the industry and artist side and I can’t wait to build the LPB network and see what value it can bring to the industry.”
