Mathame to debut NEOLOGY experience in Beirut

Mathame are set to present the global debut of their new audiovisual concept, NEOLOGY, in Beirut on December 27.

NEOLOGY builds on the duo’s previously launched NEO A/V show series, which debuted with consecutive Friday performances at Amnesia Ibiza during the summer of 2024, positioning this new chapter as a continuation of an already established narrative world.

Described as a fully immersive experience, NEOLOGY moves beyond a conventional live show, combining sound, narrative structure and cinematic design into a unified environment. Chapter I introduces the origins of the universe through Mathame’s established audiovisual language, unfolding the story in real time and positioning the audience as an active part of the experience rather than passive spectators.

Sharing the announcement via social media, Mathame wrote: “A visual portal into the world of NEO... What’s behind the giant statue you all know? The story doesn’t happen on a stage. It happens around you. You are part of the story.”

In an earlier post outlining the concept, the duo wrote: “Born from the world of NEO, NEOLOGY is a Mathame Saga, written and crafted over the past years by us and our team. NEOLOGY tells the story of NEO, coming to life as a visual show across festivals and selected locations. NEO is the event. NEOLOGY is its story.”

The event is organised by Poltergeist Beirut and will take place at Beirut Hall on December 27.
