Motez releases new single, ‘Get It Done’
Out via Sweat It Out, ‘Get It Done’ features Scrufizzer
Baghdad-born now-Australian DJ and producer Motez (Moutaiz Al-Obaidi) has released a new single, entitled “Get It Done”.
The artist’s talent for incorporating elements of techno and house music into his productions gives music enthusiasts a unique experience. Motez is regarded as one of the most outstanding figures the Australian house scene and is known for his beloved dance anthems including “Down Like This” with Tkay Maidza, “The Future” with Anthony and Cleopatra as well as his solo projects the likes of “Submission”, “Patience” and “ReSet”.
Motez’s new work showcases Scrufizzer’s forceful vocal versatility that gives the track a dynamic twist. “Get It Done” is a followup to their 2016 collaboration “The Vibe”.
“I wanted to draw from industrial and dissonant sounds and tones found in EBM, dark disco and techno, but adding Scrufizzer’s unique vocals and delivery to be a point of difference and to drive the message home,” says Motez.
Motez has recently released also a remix for “The Excuse” by L D R U.
