Moving Still reveals new EP on CWPT
The artist shared the first single, ‘Kunafa King’, from his forthcoming EP
Ireland-based DJ/producer Moving Still is releasing a new EP titled “Kalam Hub” on Cooking With Palms Trax. The artist shared the first single, “Kunafa King”, from his upcoming project.
Out on November 18, “Kalam Hub” is the artist’s first EP this year following 2021’s “Tafadal” EP which came out via Oxford-based record label Jive Hive.
“Kalam Hub” presents an ambitious expansion of the artist’s sound, delving into his identity and background to open up imaginative, universal new corners for club culture. Moving Still further blends both his Saudi Arabian and Irish heritage on this new project.
“I am still pinching myself to finally share the first single off my EP ‘Kalam Hub’ on Palms Trax’ label CWPT. ‘Kunafa King’ is a special one to me and I really hope it gives you the same feeling it gives me each time. For months my little guy was dancing to this and it now has taken a whole new meaning to me. This one has lots of inspiration from traditional Saudi Mizmar alongside Sudanese and Ethiopian leads that brings the element of how diverse and multicultural Jeddah is. I have loads of thoughts on the EP to share with you all, but for now I'll let this track breathe,” said Moving Still on Instagram.
