New production competition Make It 2026 launches with €20,000 prize pool

The producer-focused competition hosted annually by ghost production company Edmwarriors has returned for 2026, bringing with it a substantial €20,000 prize pool.

The opening round of Make It 2026 officially launched on March 3, and will remain open until Sunday, March 15. The first stage invites emerging producers to submit original tracks within the tech house genre.

This year’s edition will unfold across three separate rounds. A techno-focused contest will open for submissions on April 1, followed by a house round beginning on May 5, before the overall grand finalist is announced on June 11.

Make It 2026 marks the third instalment of the competition organised by Edmwarriors, which first launched in partnership with Mixmag in 2024. It also introduces the largest prize pool in the contest’s history.

A total of €20,000 in prizes will be awarded to the top-performing producers, including two Pioneer CDJ-3000X Multiplayers, a Pioneer DJM-A9 DJ Mixer, a Make It Custom Console Case and additional rewards.

Winners of each individual round will receive €1,000, while the overall champion will also be awarded a “champion” Edmwarriors account featuring “exclusive high-value platform perks”.

“Make It was created to give talented producers a genuine platform to break into the industry,” a representative from Edmwarriors tells Mixmag.

“Each year we’ve seen the level rise dramatically. With Make It 2026, we’re pushing even further – bigger prizes, more visibility and stronger industry positioning.”
