Nur Jaber drops lead single from final EP, celebrating Lebanese roots as project ends
Nur Jaber bids farewell to her current alias with a final EP
Berlin-based Lebanese DJ/producer Nur Jaber is set to release her final EP under her techno alias.
The EP, titled ‘End Of An Era (Nihayet Haqbah)’, will be released on November 22, with the lead single ‘Habibi (Our Legacy Lives)’ already out.
In an Instagram announcement, the artist dedicated the EP to her Lebanese heritage, stating, “This is a dedication to my brothers & sisters in Lebanon, and a celebration to my Arabic Heritage. We are more than just numbers and casualties, we are artistic, we are creative & we have a deeply rooted culture that is both extremely rich & mystical. As part of the world feels like it’s turning against us during this devastating time, I proudly say I am Lebanese. We will not be erased, we will not be victimised and we will not be forgotten.”
