Radio Alhara hosts Disco Cantina at All Together Now with DJs from Palestine and across the Middle East
The three-day gathering brings Mixmag Lab to Ireland for the first time

Radio Alhara is hosting Disco Cantina at this year’s All Together Now festival in Waterford, Ireland. Presented by community arts collective The Great Oven and Dublin’s acclaimed Middle Eastern eatery Tang, the three‑day gathering from August 1 to 3 offers a dynamic mix of performances.
From daytime into the night, DJs from Palestine, the wider Middle East and established Irish and international artists are providing a soundtrack of “sonic solidarity”. The full experience is being captured and amplified by Mixmag. The Disco Cantina hosts Ireland’s first ever Mixmag Lab to be broadcast globally.
The Disco Cantina has made its debut with an eclectic opening‑day line‑up today. Alba goes back‑to‑back with K80LO, while Away From Dave teams up with HAAi for a special set. Edna Martinez, Edvin and Jamito each bring their own distinctive sounds to the stage, alongside the genre‑blurring selections of Moving Still and SHEE.
On Saturday 2 August, the programme continues with Creating Patterns and My Mate Luke, followed by NIGHT Manoeuvres. Nora Moon and Nour will each deliver their own musical journeys, while Pouya Ehsaei presents a live outing from Ariwo. The day’s sounds will also feature Ribeka, Sahana and Sarv, creating a rich and varied sonic landscape.
Sunday 3 August closes the weekend with a diverse mix of performances. CoSemo joins forces with Digs for a back‑to‑back session, while DJ Karmawi brings his own flavour to the decks. Ishmael Ensemble and Kiss Nuka, the latter performing live, will add depth and texture to the day’s soundtrack. Sally C’s high‑energy style, Sarv’s distinctive set and Snell’s selections will round off the Disco Cantina’s debut at the festival.
Since its inception in 2019, The Great Oven has constructed giant, beautifully decorated community ovens and installed them in refugee camps, conflict zones and informal settlements across Lebanon and South Africa. The project aims to provide sustainable food relief while fostering community cohesion through cooking, art, music and mentorship of local youth, guided by world‑renowned artists. This year, two ovens co‑created by artists from Palestine and Ireland were decorated at IMMA (the Irish Museum of Modern Art) before their debut at the festival. One was sent to the West Bank’s Wonder Cabinet creative hub, the other to Bohemian Football Club's historic Dalymount Park in Dublin.
