Kompakt welcomes back Raxon for new Speicher instalment
Raxon returns to Speicher with a two-track release featuring ‘Acid Call’ and ‘Don’t Cry Pluto’

The Egyptian-born, now Spain-based DJ and producer Raxon has made his latest mark on Kompakt’s long-standing Speicher series with its 134th instalment. The release, out now, features two tracks that showcase his knack for blending textures and rhythms, building on his previous work with the label, including a full-length album in 2021.
On Side-1, "Acid Call" offers a stripped-back, minimalist sound anchored by a solid, weighty beat. A lively bassline weaves through the track, paired with sharp, detailed production and subtle acid influences that maintain its momentum. It’s a versatile cut, suited for both high-energy dancefloors and more introspective moments.
Flip to Side-2, and "Don’t Cry Pluto" shifts gears into a more atmospheric realm. Here, Raxon blends melodic, analogue textures with a cinematic edge—think ethereal layers and delicate, fairytale-like tones set against a robust foundation. The result is a balanced mix of depth and lightness that stands out for its emotive pull.
"Speicher 134", guided by Kompakt co-founder Wolfgang Voigt’s enduring vision, reinforces the series’ reputation as a cornerstone of techno after over 25 years. The release is Raxon's 4th outing on Kompakt’s Speicher series. He first joined the series with "Speicher 107" in February 2019, followed by "Speicher 124" in January 2023 and "Speicher 131" in February 2024.
