Rony Seikaly teams up with Nick Curly on new EP, ‘Seen It Coming’
The two-track EP is out via 8bit Records

Lebanese-American DJ/producer Rony Seikaly has joined forces with Nick Curly on the ‘Seen It Coming’ EP, which has been released via 8bit Records.
The EP follows on from Rony Seikaly's run of releases earlier in the year, among them the ‘Walking Out of the Dark’ EP on his Stride imprint, featuring the title track, ‘Boogie Man’ and ‘Everyday is a Miracle’. He also released the ‘Mariposa’ EP, as well as the singles the likes of ‘Temperatura’ and ‘The Party’.
On the other side, Nick Curly has maintained a steady output in 2025 as well. Earlier this year, he dropped the ‘We Luv’ EP on Cécille Records in February, a three-track effort featuring the title track, ‘Revolver’ and ‘Keep It Up’. He also dropped a number of singles including his remix of ‘Love Stream’ by Mat.Joe, as well as others like ‘Cale De Bou’, ‘Unite’ and ‘Fonki’.
The ‘Seen It Coming’ EP consists of two tracks; ‘Seen It Coming’ and ‘Floating Point’, both described by label as deep, percussive house cuts with hypnotic grooves, a tight low-end and slick vocal snippets, engineered to resonate on late-night dancefloors and at first-light sessions. Both tracks embody a slow-burning tension and an understated but compelling energy.
As a noteworthy sidebar, Nick Curly had previously remixed Rony Seikaly’s track ‘Set My Body’ back in 2020, marking a creative connection that predates this latest collaboration.
