Sevenn makes a triumphant debut on Future House Music
‘End Of The Beginning’ has been getting a lot of hype
Sevenn has shared his debut on Future House Music with his latest solo single, "End Of The Beginning".
Hailing from California, Sevenn introduces a steady bassline and shadowy synths, creating a balance between light and dark atmospheres. The track, steeped in the realms of dark, melodic techno, carries a significant undertone. The track's vocals, almost ethereal in nature, are looped at intervals, reflecting the cycle of life and death that greatly influenced Sevenn in his creative process. "End Of The Beginning" leaves listeners contemplating its thematic interplay of beginnings and endings. This release comes on the heels of his collaborations with artists like Silver Panda, ASHER SWISSA, Goom Gum and Laidback Luke.
"The 'End Of The Beginning' I wrote while at my mom's house on the central coast of California, I had set my laptop and studio outside to watch the moonrise. I had been dealing with the thought of death and life, and the cycle, the ouroboros, and the song stemmed from there. It's about the intensity of the never-ending cycle, the dragon eating its own tail, and out of death comes life. Something about that moonrise in the cold left a mark." said Sevenn.
Kevin Brauer, known professionally as Sevenn, is an American artist and producer who quickly rose to prominence in the international electronic music scene. His initial release, "Colors of the Rainbow," garnered substantial attention, followed by the successful track "BYOB," a remix of System of a Down's song, achieving over 60 million plays. This surge in popularity led to a global demand for his performances at clubs and festivals. Another notable moment in his career was the collaboration with Tïësto on "BOOM," which was featured at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. A remix of this track with Gucci Mane reached number 14 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic charts and has accumulated over 800 million streams. His recent works include a remix of Pink Floyd's "The Wall," collaborations with Showtek, Blasterjaxx and Jonas Blue and solo releases with Selected, Armada and Spinnin' Records. In 2021, Sevenn introduced what he terms 'Hybrid Techno' through a 4-track EP, achieving a spot in the Top 100 on Apple Music charts, with continued releases in this style throughout 2022. Sevenn is a regular fixture at renowned festivals like Tomorrowland Belgium, Lollapalooza and Creamfields, and notably opened for Guns n' Roses on their South American tour in 2022. His recent track "Deep Space," supported by Tale Of Us, positions Sevenn for further ascent in the global music industry in 2023.
