Smitech Wesson releases new EP ‘Whisper’ via Styx Records
The three-track EP highlights the Istanbul-based producer’s blend of techno, electro and industrial sounds, featuring a collaboration with UK vocalist Teresa Meads

Smitech Wesson (Murat Celik) has released his latest EP, ‘Whisper’, through Naeleck’s label Styx Records.
The Istanbul-based producer, known for fusing techno, electro and industrial elements, delivers a three-track collection that reflects his signature style while exploring new sonic textures.
The EP opens with its title track which features UK vocalist Teresa Meads. Her emotive vocal delivery adds depth to the track’s dark and intense atmosphere, supported by a foundation of deep basslines and sharp synth layers. The result is a hypnotic piece that balances energy and mood.
‘Passion’ follows with a more dynamic structure, driven by propulsive rhythms and basslines designed to energise the dancefloor. The track maintains momentum throughout, offering an infectious groove that sustains the EP’s forward motion.
Closing the record, ‘Queen’ leans into heavier, industrial influences. Distorted synths and punchy percussion give the track a rebellious character, showcasing the artist’s willingness to experiment within his established sound palette.
Active since 2011, Smitech Wesson has built a profile through releases on labels such as Dancing Dead, Space Factory and Boxon Records. His productions have previously gained support from artists like Steve Aoki, The Hacker, Digitalism and Proxy, while also earning placements in Beatport’s Top 100 charts.
With Whisper, Wesson continues to expand his discography, offering a concise yet varied EP that captures both the intensity and diversity of his musical approach.
Smitech Wesson’s discography includes striking tracks such as ‘Scream’, ‘Happiness’, ‘Run’, ‘Y.B.T’ and ‘SM’, among many others. You can listen to the tracks from his latest EP ‘Whisper’ below.
