Sultan + Shepard release their first collaboration with Lane 8
‘The Little Mushroom That Got Away’ is out via This Never Happened
Sultan + Shepard and Lane 8 are no strangers to reworking each other’s tunes. But they have finally joined forces for their first original collaboration.
Titled ‘The Little Mushroom That Got Away’, the track is a departure from their usual styles. The track starts with a synth loop and a catchy melody. It quickly builds up to a massive drop by the first minute and keeps the energy high throughout. The track is a progressive house gem that will get the crowds moving this winter. Early signs show it's already making waves with club-goers.
“Daniel has been very involved in our music for the past four years, and thankfully everything we've done together has been extremely organic. From the first demos we sent him of our music, to remixing each other's songs, and now collaborating on original music- we never set out with an agenda in mind… One of our favorite parts of working with him is the emphasis on exploring new territory, and using fresh ideas to spark creativity. We were all really excited about how this song turned out because it felt different to what either of us had done in the past, and yet it fit seamlessly into both our sets. Hope you all enjoy!”, captioned an Instagram post by Sultan + Shepard.
