An online auction has been launched to raise funds for those affected by the ongoing conflict in Sudan, bringing together a series of ‘one-of-a-kind’ experiences and items donated by musicians.

Artists including The Weeknd, PinkPantheress, Kelela and MIKE are contributing gifts and experiences to the auction, with all proceeds directed to Sudanese non-profit organisations providing vital food and medical support.

The fundraiser has been organised by Freedom For Sudan, which describes itself as “a new initiative to support the people of Sudan in their mission to end the violence and exploitation and rebuild with a civilian government.”

A total of 19 lots are currently open for bidding, ranging from a signed vinyl copy of ‘The Boy Who Played The Harp’ by Dave, to a meet-and-greet for two at any upcoming headline show by Central Cee, as well as a hand-drawn portrait by PinkPantheress.

Alongside physical items, the auction features a number of experiential offerings, including a private dinner for two hosted by Sudanese Kitchen, four VIP tickets to an event at Jazz Cafe, and the chance to spend time with SZA.

Additional merchandise and clothing are also available, with contributions from the likes of Nike, 2hollis, SZA, Ib Kamara, and The Weeknd, who has also donated premium tickets to one of his live shows.

“Bringing together the most generous greats across music, fashion, food, and film to raise funds for Sudan,” reads a post shared on Instagram. “Bid for one-on-one offerings and extraordinary encounters with your favourite artists.”
