Tiësto returns to his trance roots with ‘Bring Me To Life’

Tiësto has returned to his roots with ‘Bring Me To Life’, a distinctly trance-driven release featuring vocals from FORS.

Earlier this week on Monday (November 17), the Dutch DJ and producer cleared his Instagram feed entirely, leaving behind a single enigmatic post that revisited his original ‘90s logo; a visual closely tied to his formative years as a trance pioneer.

Alongside the imagery, the post offered a brief audio teaser, pairing a classic trance build with an emotive vocal line, fuelling speculation that Tiësto may be signalling a return to the sound that first defined his global rise.

Finally, the wait is over. Tiësto’s trance comeback just landed on all streaming platforms. The release arrived just ahead of his upcoming performances at Egypt’s Great Pyramids of Giza on December 19 and Dubai’s Surf Club on December 20, where audiences will witness his “new sound” unfold across these consecutive shows in the region.

“My connection to dance music has never been stronger. Playing these new sounds live and feeling the energy from the crowd has been unbelievable! It’s pushed me into this new era and inspired the direction of both the single and the album. This moment feels more authentic and exciting than ever and I can’t wait for all that’s to come,” Tiësto commented in a statement.

‘Bring Me To Life’ marks the first preview of Tiësto’s forthcoming album, which is slated for release in 2026. Listen to ‘Bring Me To Life’ below.
