Amsterdam Dance Event announces first wave line-up for its 2023 edition
Fatima Hajji, Vini Vici, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Roy Rosenfeld, Sahar Z, Audio Junkies, and many more, are heading to ADE
Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has just revealed the initial line-up of artists who will be gracing the stages at its 2023 edition.
Scheduled to take place from October 18 to October 22, the festival will cover a wide range of electronic music genres and subcultures, playing host to over 1000 events across more than 200 venues throughout Amsterdam.
Spearheaded by the Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation and in collaboration with its originating partner Buma, ADE has flourished into the largest global event for electronic music, incorporating business conventions and becoming a festival of its own right. It boasts an international selection of electronic music subgenres, complemented by a dedicated conference and an Arts & Culture initiative.
The line-up of DJs and performers will be disseminated across the city, with a detailed programme itinerary set to be unveiled in the coming months. The organisers assure a "bolder, spicier and larger than ever event, with the festival experience upgraded for all."
Those amongst the first wave of names include Fatima Hajji, Vini Vici, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Roy Rosenfeld, Sahar Z and Audio Junkies.
Among other artists on the line-up are Chris Stussy from the Netherlands, Belgium's Amelie Lens, Amsterdam's own DIØN, and the Italo disco innovators Nu Genea.
Adding to the excitement, the festival has also confirmed the inclusion of audio-visual and musical acts for the ADE conference programme. London-based producer Max Cooper is set to deliver an immersive masterclass and audio-visual performance, exploring the intersections of science, music and art.
The intriguing "Secret Artists in Residence" concept, which facilitates unique artistic collaborations and live studio jam sessions, is also set to make a return, providing an exclusive event for this year's ADE pro attendees.
Tickets for individual programmes can be accessed here, and the ADE pro pass is available here.
