Black Camel Records teams up with +ONE for launch event
The party will take place at Dubai’s VNYL Hi-Fi with performances by Bazzzuk, Parvané and the label founder Pierre Locher this Saturday
Black Camel Records is hosting its launch event at VNYL Hi-Fi on Saturday, April 19, in collaboration with +ONE.
The night will feature sets by Parvané, Bazzzuk and the label’s founder Pierre Locher.
French-Iranian DJ and creative consultant Parvané is set to bring her genre-spanning sound to the event, drawing on a background that blends soulful R&B with electronic textures. She is also the founder of Joon Collective, an initiative aimed at community building through music and culture.
Joining her on the line-up is Bazzzuk, a well-established name within the UAE's underground circuit and resident at Dubai’s longstanding Analog Room. As co-founder of the Dancewerk series, Bazzzuk has become known for mixing percussive grooves with offbeat energy, drawing influence from a range of artists including K-Hand and Wu-Tang Clan.
Rounding out the line-up is the label founder Swiss-British DJ and producer Pierre Locher, who launched Black Camel Records with the aim of supporting regional talent and bringing together music, fashion and storytelling. His productions typically lean towards percussive, textured arrangements, with past performances spanning both the Middle East and Europe.
